I love dramas that bring tears to the eyes, I don't know what, but....
well I just do! So, let me suggest some for you and maybe you should
watch them! Do you like tear-jerkers? or no? I feel lame sitting in
front of my computer crying but hey! I think it's good to every once in a
while!
Dramas:
1 Litre of Tears: Finished a few days ago
I
LOVE this one. I am reading the book as well, there is a movie and a
drama, both separate from each other. The movie sticks way closer to the
book than the drama does. (the drama is based on the book, but with
different characters and events.) The book is the Diary of Kitou Aya, a
15 year old girl that is diagnosed with a degenerative disease which
attacks the brain. Eventually, people who suffer from this, won't be
able to walk, talk, move freely, eat on their own and most commonly ends
in an early death. It's really sad. I've been watching the drama and my
eyes a swollen from it!
Koizora: Started and finished Drama today, about to watch movie
This
one didn't make me cry as much as 1 litre of Tears did, but
nevertheless, it is one to be watched! It is about a girl that falls in
love with a blonde "Delinquent" with some anger issues. It's a deep love
and it brings tears to the eyes, It's bittersweet with a HUGE lesson in
love. Only 6 episodes.
there is also a movie that is 2 hours long, It has the same plot, just progressed differently, different actors too.
Kami-sama Mou Sukoshi DakeA
touching love story about a girl Kano Masaki who contracted
HIV after selling her body in order to earn money for the concert of a
famous composer Ishikawa Keigo . After the concert, Keigo saw
Masaki chasing after his van. She was drenched, and thus Keigo took her
to his apartment, where they spent the night. Yes, a little mature but
it is definately worth a watch! Plus, it teaches a lesson about sex, and
HIV.
Kou kou Kyoushi 2003:Hina, a student at Nikko High School, goes out one evening with her
classmate Beniko. They get split up and Hina ends up in a strange
meeting with a man named Ikumi in a game arcade. The next day, Ikumi
turns up as the new teacher at her school. Ikumi doesn't seem to
recognize Hina but the wheels of fate are slowly moving to reunite them
in what is a passionate story of forbidden love.
One of the main underlying themes of this drama is death. Another
important theme is the struggle Hina and Ikumi have in trying to
realize the difference between love and dependence... or is there a
difference?
- Spoiler:
she overhears him
talking to a doctor who has just told him he has a terminal illness and
is going to die, She thinks it's her with it and he let's her believe
it.
